The village of Angbar is now recruiting!



About us:
The village was made a few months ago, but most of the guys in there quit playing due to RL (or other) stuff. The old idol was destroyed (LS inactive) and new one is up. It is a small-medium sized village, made by experienced players. Our goal is to play casually, not look for wars and just have fun. We respect teamwork and reward dedication.

We are looking seeking for experienced:
- farmers
- cooks
- hunters
- tailors/sericulturists
- carpenters
- other jobs (but we may be a bit more strict with selection here)

What we offer:
- a main village area with brickwall
- a separate palisaded mine close to the main village
- a friendly and helpful community
- high Q crops, mid Q trees, silk eggs, ... for you to work on
- tools for you to work with

What we don't offer:
- a personal plot for everyone inside the brickwall (it is too small , you can however build outside, personal pali/brick is planned for every member)
- a curio/food storage for slackers
- a castle for you to hide in (you come here, you work)

What we require of you:
- to speak english
- to be experienced (1 week playtime is not experienced) and have atleast some game knowledge
- to have atleast some skill in the job you are planning to do (I'll make exceptions for fast lp-ing new characters)
- to be nice and have a sense of humor (no, you don't need to be a stand up comedian, just a guy/girl who can take a joke and isn't grumpy)
- to be helpful, honest, mature and selfless
- to contribute and work for the good of the village
- to not do stupid and newbie stuff
- to not steal, attack or destroy stuff in village (aka black skills)
- when you do play, you should do village work (people who log in just to eat and leech curios will be kicked out)

What we don't require of you:
- to be online 24/7. We have no activity requirements as we are all pretty casual.
- to be a slave, you can do stuff only for your own good too(just don't login to do just that)

About 3 months. My last character was mauled to death and I quit for a while. But now I've decided to begin playing again.

- Describe your game experience so far.
It's been alright since I started up again and have built up my character stats at a fair pace.

- What are your most significant accomplishments in the game?
Built up a village with about 5 other people. It ran well for about a month. But the others stopped logging in and so it was just me and another guy running the village. We maintained it well for a couple weeks before I died.

- Have you been in any other villages? If so, for how long and why did you leave?
Yes. About 2 months before I died. I made another character and informed my friend I was rage quitting.

- Should you join the village, what job(s) would you perform?
Preferably farming and cooking. I could do some exploration as well.

- Do you already have a character or would you start a new one?
I would like to use my current character.

- Have you been in any other villages? If so, for how long and why did you leave? Yes, but I left because of inactivity as well as being plagued by various misfortunes

Game Experience

Since sometime in the final half of w4 and much of w5 I have good experience and leaned some nice tricks.
- Describe your game experience so far.
Been recruited in w4. Ended up in a nice settlement, pretty safe. Was a ranged hunter, gatherer, scout, and a few more. Was always selfless and community minded. The wannabe leader didn't like this and killed some of us before starting a new village. Spent time as a hermit after that and made friends. W5 came and I joined another settlement with 4 players total. We were raided several times, and it fell apart. Traveled up north with a friend for a while and got to end of map. We got killed for the first time in w5(happened a week ago) by some ass heads.
I'm a new character now.
- What are your most significant accomplishments in the game?
Been able to keep myself alive for most of my time, I leaned a lot about the game, give me a good sling and a boat and i can hut any animal out there without it running away.
- Have you been in any other villages? If so, for how long and why did you leave?
Been in 2 villages. The one in w4: killed out of politics and because I made friends with a competitor to the throne who shared the same ideals as I.
The second one Was a friendly settlement in the middle of the map... We got raided and It died.
- Should you join the village, what job(s) would you perform?
Almost anything that requires me to move around. Boat or ranged hunting(If I have a tank), forager, scout, worker, gatherer, wood chopper, mule, anything as long as I get to run around and help.
- Do you already have a character or would you start a new one?
I have a fresh character as I just got killed. Still have some skills MM: 30, expl:19, surv:9, the rest are measly. Attributes are: str:15 intl:16 cons/agi/dex:12 rest are 10
- Anything you would like to add or ask?
I'm a friendly guy, moderately sociable, and helpful. I'm very community minded and know how to behave in a village, will provide anything of my own to those that ask(but you must ask or give a notice). I don't ask for anything that's not useful/absolutely needed.
The only things I can't stand for are political shitstorms, tyrants and back stabbers. If you can be understanding and fair so can I. I never stole anything, never griefed, never killed or attacked.
