The Village of New Horizons (Recruiting closed for now)

New horizons are upon me and the new village of New Horizons is now recruiting villagers to help turn my one man hermit home into a village

I have some good villagers in so far still need about 4 to six more.

What I do have
I have 4cows/1bull/1goat/a mine with q10 tin ore/food/ q30 to q100 crops and more to help get the village started. I now have access to good water thanks to friends from a old village. Thanks guys

I have 8 30*30 plots outlined in stone with roads all paved going around the plots. All the plots need is a owner and a wall. Out of the 8 I have 4 left but can and will make more.

I'm looking to recruit (5) more villagers at the time who are good/fun/honest and somewhat new to the game people who know how to use the Wikipedia.

JOBS
I need the following
hunters/explores to hunt for meat and look for better q clay/water/soil ect.....
farmers to farm crops and feed livestock
silk maker/leather worker to farm silk and make high q goods
cook/ baker to cook all food and baked goods
miners to look for metal and supply the villagers
If you want to join but don't want one of these jobs then put down what you do want to do

Upon joining you will get
A 30*30 plot/materials for a stone mansion/food/equipment/live stock when there's extra/my help/
And a vote on all village events . The 1st thing the 9 of us will vote on is who will be the chieftain. A week or two after all 8 villagers have joined we will make that vote .

Experience in game: Current best character can only buy 3 skills currently (tresspassing, rage, and swimming) & has 38 survival, 26 exploration, and 18-20 in other incrimental skills. Also, has own 1 player settlement with best friend's settlements next to mine.

I won't ever go on someone's plot unless they give me the ok to do so. Or unless I'm 100% they stole or killed someone out of cold blood. Or say they stoped playing . That's why I want a key.
And as for no personal claims your pali wall will keep any other villagers from stealing from you as I and you will be only ones to have a key.

That would probably depend on which character I bring over, which I'm not yet set on. I just recently rebuilt a plot for my main, and I'm not sure I'm ready to abandon it so soon. However, I'm also fairly sure that this character is reaching the limit to what she can develop on her own. I have no mining experience, and aside from hardened leather and whatever else I can discover with that, I think everything else she could do would require some access to metal. I also can't tame animals on my own, so access to a village could help there as well. Farming would be the best fit for her since so far that's all I've really worked on. I enjoy leatherworking too, but I don't have many recipes yet.

Otherwise, I also have an alt that I made recently. She's much more of a blank slate and could work towards any career. If I take her I would like to do something other than farming, so that I can experience something new. However, I would likely need a little bit of training for some of these things as I'm still a noob (I'm a quick learner, though).

I usually login at least once a day. Time of day and length of time played each day depends on the day as I work retail, and thus my work schedule varies. If I close I will be on anytime between 7-2pm, and then probably back on for a little after 10pm. If I open (which is most days), I'm likely to be on a short while before work, and then anytime between 5-11pm. I'm usually off Wed and Sun, and if I don't have other plans, will be on for long stretches on those days.

Only a few weeks.

Experience in game?
So far I've mostly just been hermiting. The only combat I can do involves shooting a sling from my boat. I can farm and make leather stuff, though I have no experience yet with farming actual livestock (aside from clovers). My main character is currently waiting on beeswax so I can finally discover hardened leather. I have no experience with mining.

And why you want to join?
I'm looking to experience more of the game than I can as a hermit, and maybe get to know some people ingame. This sounds like it could be a mature, organized, and helpful village, which is what I'm looking for.
