If you actually look at your customers you pull out a lot of bad seeds. Usually if the person is well known on the forum, or you can see the person made previous transactions in trade successfully then they are a good customer. If it's an alt account with 6 posts that joined recently and that says they have a golden egg well...
Furthermore, if your trading many items at once cut it half and demand half price and then proceed to bring the other half if you are bringing it to them. They could kill you but at the very least your not losing all of your items.
Certainly, in taking revenge, a man is but even with his enemy; but in passing it over, he is superior; for it is a prince’s part to pardon. - A wise friend.

Gotta agree with rozn here. A lot of these scammers we are hearing about on the forums are guys I've never even heard of or are obvious alt accounts.

Making it your personal policy to refuse to trade with people without established rep/low post count would definitely weed out a lot of scammers. If they just have low post count, then they better become more active in the community and establish a rep if they wish to trade. We are providing them with a privilege to trade with us, and if they want to purchase what we have to offer, then they better work for it and establish trust.
