I am Mvpeh, an avid H&H player. I have been playing on and off since World 1, the days of no boats. I have not participated in the H&H forums or community under any names until late W4, where I began ranging and being social in the game of Haven and Hearth.
Many of you also know me as the one in Global that loves noobs. This is true; I love noobs to my full potential. I love helping noobs, gifting noobs, feeding noobs, tracking noobs, and very many other things that have to do with noobs. Essentially, noobs are my favorite thing about H&H. They are lost and hopeless until that one non-troll, non-pantser, non-killing Mvpeh hops along, throws them a bear or two and shows them the root of the game he has come to love.
Now, on to the diary. I also want to begin this one with a brief description of why I do these diaries.
The diaries all started after Sarah Jane gave me a visit one late July day. I was Mvpeh the Bold (and still am), and working on my village of New Canaan with 6 of my close friends. One of them, named Death, had been attacked a bit to the South of us. She tracked him down, and the next day I saw a quite interesting topic that pushed me towards what I do today. I do this because I want to, and I have been notified that people enjoy it. However, I do not only go on treks that I describe in the diary. I post particularly intriguing ones because those are the ones people want to read.
I'm going to do this in a tl;dr format. If you didn't care to read it, then don't. I hope all that do care enjoy this thread as I put my time and effort into this.

That pretty much explains it all.
The story:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Twas' a crisp day in the Hearthlands. The boars were fleeing, the Vigiliances were PMing, the noobs were spawning, and there was a particularly.. strange smell in the air. I proceeded on my daily routine of walking Cute Bastard II the sheep, cleaning the urinals in Apoc's shrine, and foraging curiosities and delicious blueberries for our settlement. I stopped by each and every single one of my noob encampments, checking if everything was in order; it all was spotless of scents, except for one( Two of my noobs had gotten into a stealing fight, it didn't end well as one got mauled by a boar and I made him settle farther away from his noob enemy. Quite the story, but another read.). Otherwise, my day was normal.
I recieved a PM from a decently far settled noob whom needed my ranging help. Somebody had looted his encampment of noob brethren. I had work to do, and I didn't think I would get to clean up this individual case. Through begging and doing cute noob faces, I gave in. I also knew I needed to gift this noob, as I hadn't before. Two noobs with one stone. I travelled over to him to see a disturbing sight. Tons of scents. This thief was not very smart about his stealing. Instead of taking Chants inside a crate out of the claim while still in the crate, he ate each individual one in the crate, leaving a theft scent for each Chant. Instead of just stealing decent Q seeds, he left vandal scents by devastating crops and sucking their succulent seeds straight from their hand-plowed holes.
First screenshot of the crime scenes: (I decided not to black out the chats, as they serve no significance. Plus, it looks really bad.)

He, as I said, left many scents. This was a pretty large camp, home to 5+ noobs that are housed here, a common site. This man chose to loot them; he even took my noobs prize: a Q13 Itsy Bitsy Web. I was enraged.
I tossed these suffering noobs a boar and took the scents. To my surprise, there were more than I expected. He messes with my noobs.. and he leaves this kind of number of scents? Who does he think he is?

I asked if one of these guys wants to come along. I knew they could use the loot. One did, and he eagerly hopped in my boat. I feared that there would be combat, but I let him stroll along. I would protect this cute thing with my life.
On the way of tracking, we saw a few boars. I thought I'd show him my pr0 combat skills, and took it down in 3 punches, and tossed the corpse his way.
He replied with awe, "Whoa. I bet you could take a bear so easily!", and we continued our journey. I ignored the flattery that pursued after I tossed another corpse of a wild beast of a boar his way, but secretly he had made my day.

The journey soon got interesting. We came upon a camp - unpalisaded and hearthfires OUTSIDE. Obviously, they did not know the dangers of scents in the Hearthlands. It did not matter; tonight they would learn. The noob who came along did not have Trespassing, so I made him hide behind a rock while I poked around. I found the web, and other small items that might make his life a little easier. To my surprise, once again, we found quite a bit of loot. Metal, a Q4 Ranger's Cape (Whoa!), and some basic items such as shovels and pick-axes. I threw all of it his way in a new, shiny, (looted) elegant Large Chest that I had found inside the looter's house with parchment that said "Thanks for the lc." on it. Yeah. Thanks for the LC.

I destroyed the HF of the perpetrator, gave my friend all the good loot I could find, and teleported back to my hearth. I thought about letting this man live, but it didn't seem right - stealing x 30+ is not justifiable. I ended his life with a hit to the face with my new and shiny Q12 Militia Sword. His soul evaporated into thin air, the God of Jorb was satisfied - for now.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you enjoyed the boring trek that I attempted to make interesting. It was a fun write, and hopefully it was a fun read. I encourage you to leave your opinions through a PM or something.
The other 3 weren't really well written or put any time into, so I decided to make one that I put time into a diary.
For all of you that didn't care to read it, here's a huge album of screenshots that describe the entire journey.
Thanks for reading!
