Well, it's a friendly neighbor thread, best I could come up with, and it's still kinda like a normal congress story, it has a happy ending at least

To whoever left that one Wild Windsown Weed on my drying rack, it's making a world of difference for me. Thank you so very much for giving me a head start on farming.

I know how he felt.

Someone left a fox on my Hermit Camp when I started. The bones were a god send, as it allowed me to make a saw.

I swear, I have no idea how I couldn't find a single rabbit for 3 days. Thanks anonymous benefactor.

OP here.

So I attempted to pass along the neighborly good will, but I was less than successful. I was talking to a couple Ukrainian players who weren't able to make a palisade. I gave them some info and basic supplies to get started. Then I logged out. When I logged back in, I found out that they had decided not to make a palisade. Instead, they were building a battering ram to attack a nearby Russian village. I tried to explain how attacking people much stronger than you was a Very Bad Idea, but they didn't understand. I don't know if this is because of the language barrier or the stupidity barrier.

No problem. It wasn't me but it was one of my friends in our little town. If you need any seeds we have them for all crops. It'll help kick start your farm. We can craft you some hats too to help with your farming and cooking.

Sincerely,
The non pumpkin heads

I'm all set with seeds. For now, I'm gonna take the Horatio Alger route. :D My little settlement will mean more to me if I build it myself.

When looking for Entroned Toad materials, I noticed a very large wall going up. Upon further inspection, the guy building it had partially built walls just sitting there, waiting for anyone to come along and complete it while locking him in. Instead of doing that, I left a runestone saying he should put up signs around the corners and wall ends to prevent people from fucking with his wall, lest they want to leave scents.

This thread is making me :3. I'm my village's forager and come across a lot of noob camps, I think I'll start spreading a little goodwill. Best I've done was put a couple spare curios in someone's crate which, let's face it, were probably stolen before the noob logged back on.

I see a lot of depressing scenes too. Like the one camp that had a little square all paved for a palisade, a runestone saying something to the effect of "Hi, I'm new, let's be friends :D" and then an extinguished hearthfire and a skeleton. Call me a bleeding heart, it hurts a little every time I see anything like that :( (and I see it a lot, since I roam the rivers all the time)

Maybe I'll start planting hemp everywhere. 420 smoke cured hemp buds erryday
I'm here to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of ass

I had really bad diarrhea one day and my neighbor took apart his spruce cap so I could wipe.
