Communism will never work, not even in this game. I came across a village that was based on communism, and had a nice chat with one of the lads there. He said that everyone could just take anything from anyone, EXCEPT the leaders, who had their own little walled off sections. "What's your is mine, but what's mine isn't yours." seems like what they were doing there...
