Not really a "broken game mechanic" considering it's wholly intended as a way to protect cave entrances.

Even so, your comment is akin to saying "by the way, there are 8 cheese racks in that pic". It doesn't really add anything to the conversation (unless you were already posting under the assumption that he didn't want anyone to know his ingame name).
