Due to the amount of response I have to make: I will not be quoting but simply underlining the quote I am responding to.
Burgingham: Oh, you gave Dataslycer and myself a fun time figuring out the correct relations on who you are, who you know etc etc.
Unlike Neptjunoue, I was more concise on who I am. And it's not just us. We are simply the more vocal ones.
DatOneGuy: There's a big difference. If you're sitting on q100 clay you know enough about the game to get your teeth kicked in and come back from it. IF it really looks like a newbie, we usually let them go and buy the spot or something, we've done it before.
This makes me curious. How much of Pandemonium agrees with this?
cauda_draconis Not exactly. For example i use it to label Sodom/Pande only. AD's propaganda said, that 4 world was wiped cause AD have gained significant advantage over Sodom. That's true in the sence that AD get billions lp by using bots, and devs disliked such state of affairs. I highly disregard using bots, and i do not like AD for this stuff, but i'm talking about another thing. "Anal friends of Jorbtar" means, that they have enought infuence on devs to convince them. So, if i will decide, that tobbaco seed bug is overpowered some alliance, that will remain my own opinion, but nice guys from Sodom could put the word in the right ear, and world would be wiped. That's just one abstract example. I could again remember shit about 2 gold bars etc, but i thing everyone are quite tired of this story.
Actually, from leaked information, the curiosity system was already planned during world 3 which was at first very roughly made but still favorable. World 4 was...unfortunate due to the fact that a lack of back up caused world 3 to prematurely end and world 4 to start with very beta game system such as new mining system with absurd LP gain rate, farming quality linked with soil being bugged at the start, and the world wide spread of arksu's scripts. A.D. was one that consistently used these bots but the real problem is that pretty much a large sum of players were using scripts to gain large amount of LP while not being at the keyboard. Had there been a way to stop this, it would not rewind the damage done: widespread deforestation, and a large lead by script users essentially rewarding them for exploiting bots.
The closest I can think of with the "Anal friends of Jorbtar" is the Inner Party which once also had nemesis of Sodom (at least during the Sodom vs Goon era). I myself will not judge the Inner Party as I do not know many of them well with the information I have, nor do I know what is being discussed. The only thing I can say is they comprised of veteran players of all sort. World World Wipe is not a matter taken lightly and I think many agree that unless there is a large change of game system or a huge error occuring (please keep back ups at all cost), there is no need for a wipe. Whether a wipe would be beneficial for one aside or another is moot as everyone loses everything during a wipe. For many though it is a refreshing restart once the game-play becomes stale.
Lilburne: Overall the moral of the story I think is that once again the language barrier is acting as a catalyst to the and turning the natural fear of the unknown present in us all into outright xenophobia (at times by the deliberate action of certain individuals.) As an aside on this note however, the various misuse of 'internetz' terms like 'butthurt' have of late provided me with significant amusement, if the xenophobia could go down at the same time as keeping that. I'd be a happy man.
I do not think it's xenophobic or language barrier that is a main issue as many villages have different cultures and races within their walls. Have racism and xenophobia reigned, it would be very difficult to create order and wars would be a lot more abundant.
...should I run this all through a google translator and send to PM?
