No. Terrible is the situation as it is now. My ideas aren't perfect but thinking outside the box is the only way to improve the game's siege/pvp mechanics.

The reason you reduce the dry times is that you've removed summons. Allowing instant retribution will make people think twice before they commit a crime and remove the time sink/bugfest that attacking a town has become.

The only other thing I should have added is removing the ability to make alts. That would make my suggestion better because then you'd be playing an actual survival game where perma-death had a real effect on everyone and not just the poor farmer who logs on too tend his crops for an hour then goes outside and interacts with society.

Anyways, nothing I suggest matters because one side uses and exploits a bug giving the other side the right to abuse those same bugs and to say "Yeah, but he used it first." And soon another town will get raided by climbing inside an oven and teleporting inside the walls and the giant circle of shitty game mechanics will continue.

I'm going back to 1940s L.A.

I ran fine and I was on 2 characters.

Just don't turn on scents.

Actually you don't have to think outside the box because the actual system isn't refined or even complete.
The idea as is its there, is bad.
You have to check your walls every 2 hours.
Not that I'll be caring soon.

Very impressive army + It's good to see some bugabusers being raped by their own tools.

Hey guys from Pandemonium. It was fun to read how things were seen from your perspective. Now I would like to share some information about events passed, as it seems to me that you have quite a lot of misunderstandings.

First of all - Taar - yours new " empire of evil" . I am not Taar villager, so I can also have some wrong information, but let me share you some facts about it which I am 90% sure about. Taar was not ran by ex-AD or "russian alliance" or whoever, but by 2-4 very active people. At least one of those people, indeed, took part in several collaborative raids, but in those raids there were also quite a lot of people from other villages, which usually had nothing to do with Taar. Heck, I also was part of one such raid (Odditown one, which by the way was raided without using any bugs) and I even didn't knew where Taar is located until today. Second thing: Last Vegas is actually not Taar's vault  . I know who is the owner of this vault and he is not related to Taar. I don't discard the possibility that there have been occasions when he did lend it to actual raider from Taar, but in most cases you seems just to automatically link it together: Taar means Last Vegas and vice versa, which is not true at all.

Next thing is a question. Could you please clarify who raided Roadville? Was it done by Pandemonium or some other rogue band you mentioned? I am just interested because afaik Roadville has nothing to do with Taar/raids/bug abusing mess.

The last thing is about "Taar's counterattack on Pandemonium allies" which is also most hilarious  Let me be frank, I was the one who did lead the assault on R&C. Our group (except Portgas) is not related to Taar and/or part of "russian alliance" at all. We are on our own. Actually, we didn't even knew that it is allied with Pandemonium, and didn't care about vengeance for Taar or whoever. We thought of them as some losers village to try this new bug on  . The reason why we did think so is the fact that we had boat clash with them about two days ago. It was like 6-7 of them versus 3 of us, and still they did lost one guy and fled shortly after. So, we had scents to their town, and thought - "why not?", as we also did report this bug shortly after discovering how it works.
Well, thats it about our reasons to raid R&C. I have to admit - we lost that fight, but it was quite exciting experience which I give you thanks for. Oh, and also I was full tradition ;)

Get rid of summons.

Make logging out allow you to be attacked for 5 minutes.

Make ram and cornerpost dry times 2 hours.

No more arrows through walls. Or have the damage reduced to 1/4.

the reason bugs are frowned upon is because they are used to get over walls quicker then rams, how would making ram drying times shorter help?

Well what the point of having a 4000 brick wall if people can jump over it like it didn't matter?
