The closest I can think of with the "Anal friends of Jorbtar" is the Inner Party which once also had nemesis of Sodom (at least during the Sodom vs Goon era). I myself will not judge the Inner Party as I do not know many of them well with the information I have, nor do I know what is being discussed. The only thing I can say is they comprised of veteran players of all sort. World World Wipe is not a matter taken lightly and I think many agree that unless there is a large change of game system or a huge error occuring (please keep back ups at all cost), there is no need for a wipe. Whether a wipe would be beneficial for one aside or another is moot as everyone loses everything during a wipe. For many though it is a refreshing restart once the game-play becomes stale.

The members of Inner Party have never been of a single faction since its inception; its only purpose is highlighting discussion from the general forums since they have become too noisy for the devs to follow regularly.

(Only exception being that devs conducted two private tests of the new learning system in September of last year.)

There have been talks of making the Inner Party forums readable to everyone. It has upsides like taking away that paranoia of some that Jorbs anal friends are plotting their next coup in there, but some downsides as well when it comes to critical bugs, test servers or even new ideas that would simply find duplicated threads on the usual forums again thus being subject to the noise the devs wanted to eliminate from them in the first place.

Personally I am against opening them up, because I certainly wouldn't speak my mind so freely anymore once everyone can read them. I won't hide that I also like the fact of sometimes getting some sneak peak informations on the devs thoughts of further development that probably wouldn't be posted there anymore either as soon as the forums are free to read.

I am the first to admit that this is what keeps me posting here. I enjoy the political conflict aka drama more than anything in this game.
