Why is it that you need to have access to everything he has? Isn't he allowed to have personal things?

Because you made a whole thread about it.

I made a thread about it?

It was Vigilance that made the thread.

who follows the same routes every day,
who never changes pace,
who does not risk and change the color of his clothes,
who does not speak and does not experience, dies slowly.

Especially because I don't see any bruteforce protection, ingame or on the website. Mostly because this game really tends towards sharing alts, having to trust someone 110% just to share an alt with them is annoying, very annoying.

Loftar has talked about the possibility of letting accounts share characters. Of course, don't expect anything soon.

And yeah, people care because we have all been invited into your drama through this thread.

Still love you Spider even if you were there too :P <3

Blocking all access to someone's stash is also a matter of trust. Noone trusted him.

Also, I have a question. If a small village like us ends up killing someone in this situation, it's a big deal. By why is it when big villages like Pande and RUA kill someone in the same or worse manner, it's suddenly not a big deal?

How is it a matter of trust if I give you my account info, that is the highest trust someone can give. I told you many times that the stuff THAT I FIND are mine and not yours. I share curios all the time. I do not like others snooping around where they dont belong in my cuboards. How can you possibly say i don' trust the village when I give you my account info honestly. You are not stable somedays. Other days you are fine. You are like how i used to be, flip flopping between personallitys.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Who are you referring to? The people who killed overtyped or the people " defending" him?
Certainly, in taking revenge, a man is but even with his enemy; but in passing it over, he is superior; for it is a prince’s part to pardon. - A wise friend.

It is contextualized. If everyone else had allowed access on their claims to all villagers and did not hearthfire their house then it would be a lack of trust. The account issue is poor judgement on overtyped's part and spite on Regnay's.
Privacy rights in a village should be made explicit.
Maybe during that daily village meeting that Vigilance mentioned someone could have brought up pirvacy and how claims should work. It astonishes me that the village would not bring up such an issue that one of their own could be killed over.
