Please take it out. This would lead to destruction of at least 50% of all villages, guesstimating by a quick look at the world map.

mountain vault <--- you can build your ram safely somewhere else and move it to the vault walls later. minimum time = 8 hrs.
island vault <--- you can only build your ram at where the owner can always be watching, no way to complete it without being discovered or no way to protect it before drying. a raftable ram makes the minimum into 8 hrs.

Yes, Tonky, but the solution is worse than the problem. I think we should simply look into better ways to protect the ram while it dries (let's face it, camping for a whole day won't ever happen). I had a thread in C&I recently, might be a good start for discussion: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=19475

I think the problems with this are being blown out of proportion. The ram still has to be guarded or walled off close enough on the other side of the water that you'll reach the river and get it across doesn't it? Or at least to move it closer to the water and wall it off once again or just guard it for a bit longer.

Is it really that big of a deal to spend a few extra minutes checking a few tiles more to make sure there is no ram being built?

My fix would have been to fill literally ALL the edges of our land mass with crossroads meaning that no ram could ever successfully be let off on the island to actually ram the CRs (leaving room inside to still do so though).
