This is nonsense.
They are an alliance consisting of Russian members only. So it is technically correct to call them that. Furthermore it is what they call themselves. They don't want to be called Taar (since that is really only one town of their alliance), they want to be called Russian alliance.
Nationality cannot be kept out of it, because it is a main reason of the struggles going on. Members of that alliance feel they have been discriminated against in the past and will be again simply because of the fact that they are Russians. Wether this is true or not is not relevant, what is releveant is that their nationality is what keeps this alliance going and what is the glue holdign it together. So by taking it out of the equasion you would deny the very reason for their existence.
Your normative approach to this thing is welcome, but it will just stay that: Normative, wishful thinking. So I rather deal with the problem at hand and try to convince them that there is no racism involved from anybody of our side here. We give a shit about what country they are from, it is their behaviour that makes us dislike them. That "jew star" of nationality they pinned to their breast themselves.
