the only part that makes me curious is the
part where one of the people in Kirby told
vigilance to port out, but that was kinda the
same second all the lag hit or vig didn't think
of saying aloud to port instead of saying it

It wasnt bad luck, it was mostly vigilances fault for staying outside the walls for an extended period of time, and expecting RUA not to track him

Maybe the idol was initially set up as a precautionary measure and would have just been used as an outpost to the region if we didn't attack. You getting those guys to try to kill Valten only fueled our anger and made us resolved to attack.

Also after the attack in which we killed Axucs, we went back several hours later for reconnaissance and talked to Urkerval and Russian_Mafia. They tried urging us to leave Kirribilli out of this, but they didn't explain why. I asked several times and they did not respond.

So since Kirri is raided, maybe Urkerval would care to explain why s/he was trying to ask us to leave them alone?
