You can summon the theft scent anyway from taking the ant soldiers...

Ye but the ant is something else the guy might steal or not he still will leave summonable scent to break in.

Well maybe its just me, but If I break inside a claim I do it for something that will leave scents anyway, be it theft or an attack. So leaving another scent for breaking in doesn't change a lot.

also:

And building a fence without gate, right, but it just seam so stupid, why would you be able to have a key for your fence, most people on hearth have fence around their house with a key, i mean in real life

no realisim arguments pls, in real life you could just jump or climb over the fence...

House keys, I wonder why that isn't an option yet.

Halagaz wrote:Now to the OP, its the problem with the hermit life, you absolutly need to understand that you are no weight against a village of 10+ people, there is no arguing here.

I know. But I did not take on a village (4 or 5 players by the looks of it) ... I tried to talk about sharing a cave. I don't need much. This is his/there answer.
That's about it. (having different online playing time seems a problem to.)

So you must understand that for your own safety you just better not settle in place that could attract such village, and if you do be prepare to leave. If i was you and that's what i did myself already few time ingame, is to sell to the offender the cave entrance and make them understand they better give you something worth it for that entrance, or they will have a security hole in their village untill they trade you something worth it for it. Most moron do understand this :p .

I know, and they probably to, as they build there claims/palisades outside the cave range. (so not on top of any natural cave passages)
So I don't have anything to sell to them in this case.

But since they already greifed you you might have problem acheiving that now. As an hermit its not hard to move your shit, find a small mine surounded with bad terrain like swamp or something similar that will not attract village makers, you don't need a lot of place as an hermit, so use that in your favor. Its better to leave than loose your main character.

Move ... mmm, no thanks. ... Your not by any change a member of this little crossroad group, are your?

GL with that man.

Roger.

Yep. A hermit being raided.

Mmm, might help a bit (in general). ... But no gate ... could of course try a HF gate.

Or a HF fence.

Despite what most of these morons posted about no one caring, you seem to be in proximity to us and I'm interested in murdering someone. Again.

I'll probably pop by and take a look. Through your stuff. And then go kill him.

On a tangent - I wish someone would run SpiderJerusalem's hands run over with a truck so he could never post again.
