I suppose for my last story.......

It's 8:30 in the morning, and I've put off sleeping for long enough. For what ever reason, I boated on wards down the river, to come across a fellow attempting to kill a deer. He imedietly backed away, and I suppose with good reason, but I greeted him kindly, and asked him if he needed a hand with the deer. I have a feeling he was not fluent with the english language.... so I broke it down for him. I got out of my boat and started stacking IP against the deer, and said to him... " I kill deer for you ". He took my boat. He brought it the other side, and pulled the bear out........ What was this tom foolery?!?! I picked up agro on him and he stopped in his tracks.... I filled up my flask, and head for the water, this one would suffer what I hopped enough time would be for his friends to show up and suffer too..... Clicked across the water, client froze.... logged me out. I logged back on dead =P

It enrages me to know he get's to walk away after defacing the name of Ainran, and The Pride would hunt him down with unrelenting fervor, to kill him, his village, and it's allies if I wasn't the only one to leave an assault scent  At least I had a pretty decent kill death ratio.

By the way, things to note on my way out.
(yes, some of you may already know a few
of these, and yes, there are far more things
for you to learn about the combat system, i'm
not gonna teach you all the tricks.)

-use throw sand, many people are only taught
to stack 6 and flex punch, if you take away 2
coins while they're flexing they freeze up and
you can already have turned the battle by then

-make high melee combat charisma based
support characters, one is enough for your
entire army and it will easily make you seem
far stronger.

-No pain alts

-(1v1)initiate with punch, follow with a no pain,
and lead into another punch, and another no
pain. that's a minimum of 50% of their bar
if you're a complete noob, and a definite hit
if you are equal to them or slightly lower, this
will cause panic in most cases and result in
a kill.

-Engage eachother before attacking a village or
if you see people at your walls, stack 6 coins and
use eachother to use your moves (flex/slide) this
will ensure easy bar regeneration with the help
of one friend and possibly bag a kill with 2 100 UA
people vs 2 250 UAers even (i've only done it with
a 55 and 50 vs a 250+ ish and he had no chance
really.)

-set up a sign behind you when running (for what-
ever reason you're running i don't know, but it
makes an obstacle.) And if this trick is used on you,
use your combat skill again, it reaches over the sign.

And for all you archers out there...

Isn't this easily countered with Slide? And then you get left with low HP and no attack bar to refill your defence, unless you sacrifice some more HP for it.

Well, everything can be countered to some extent. I think this whole idea is the same as in the throw sand thing. You will get the average guy and that's pretty much it. On an even fight losing 40% of your atk bar for a -2 IP can turn the tides to your enemy instead of you.

Pay attention to maneuvers, maybe the guy is using DoG? Make him suffer. Also, I never liked the idea of assuming your opponent was a noob, but I have used both... situational I guess. And as Nao mentioned, panic is a great de-buff, soon you as you bring them down to a sliver of defense bar, or better yet, hit HP.... like a crippling blow to their morals, their micro management suffers as they tremble at the thought of losing their beloved hearthling.... they risk a glance at their HP to see how much they have left, ect.
You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.
