Your purpose may not be related to the victim's interests. So, in the eyes of the victims, it will be plain and simple griefing.

But stealing followed by destroying the guys stuff (those you cant carry away or useless stuff) and raping out all his crops + animals. Isnt that griefting too?

Depends I guess. If you did it out of fear of the character himself, trying to set him back a bit and get ahead in the race then I guess it counts as a sort of self preservation.

But if you go around destroying some poor guy's q40 tables when you've got q150 then yeah that's kind of a dick move.

Well, you're right it's not griefing. Theft was the correct word. But what if the guy from the HV is a thief? You're gonna steal someone to kill a thief?

I still see Klaue's logic as flawed.
