Never trust people from Roadville. No matter what they say it'll be at best half true.

Do you want see right through the devil's eyes?
You must have seen the ground where they all stood before
I was a young man then, I was a young man then
Spending my time on the killing floor

Actually... A while back my friend and I tracked scents to Roadville, and saw a ram positioned and dried on one of the plots, with a wagon+cow right next to it. So we broke in and took some shit, loaded it up on the wagon and blazed out of there. They had an archer come but he was too scared to engage us. Anyways, a while later my town's brick-wall was rammed due to the incompetence of a recruit and a bunch of our stuff was stolen, as well as 4 people killed. I don't know if there was any connection (seeing as I wasn't killed), but it's too much of a coincidence not to be.

why would you let your character's lives and the security of your village rest solely on the back of a recruit? you should have multiple people patrolling for rams every 12h or less if you really are concerned about having your town burned to the ground

We didn't give him the task of security, he just didn't inform anyone he was killed, which was when they bashed their way past the first wall. At the time we weren't expecting an attack, it came as quite a surprise to the entire village. But hey, we are still going strong, that's all that matters.
