in w4, both aurochs and mouflons could path find. (my hp went as low as 10 from this when i first tamed some in w4)
i kind of doubt they were changed into retarded status again since then... are you sure they cant now?

in world 4, i was taming aurochs for around an hour, no issues. After taming the aurochs i wanted, i started walking towards my base, 3 of the auroch ran out of their cage (as it wasnt blocked properly) and proceeded to nearly kill me =s. I guess their just selectively retarded

i know they cant :) its about "path-finding" ability of theirs.
i was stupid enough to take a wrong signpost away and some inside detoured to attack me. oh my, they were so fast lol
with mouflons, i was stupid enough to use "baskets" for signposts at several parts and they also detoured and slipped through basket signposts to jump on me.
maybe the herds i had caught were selectively smart, as i judge from bmjclark's post? ;)

Ah, my mistake. I've never seen them stand stupidly and idly before in W3, 4, or 5. They're always more than happy to try and eat me once I've begun taming or killing them and navigate around signposts and obstacles really well. So much so that I bank on it when taming them even. So I think bmj has just had some interesting experiences?

Carnivorous aurochsen, why do you think their FEP are con? :P
You laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at you because you are all the same.
