This thread title reminds me of a story...

Russian newbie steals from me.
I go to his place and bash his shit up.
Russian newbie returns with newbie friends and bashes, steals and is accused of attacking people at a nearby village, thinking it my own.
Russian newbie is warned and chased away with words and spit to go away, he goes away.
Five minutes later, Russian newbie and friends return.
Russian newbie killed, friends let go.

Russian newbie tells Russian Alliance how I am a Bloodthirsty American. Russian Alliance hunts me down, attacks another neighbour instead, by accident (lololol). I leave the region and dissapear into the wilderness.

I am the one that got away.

A week later, per CHANCE.... I bump into Russian Newbie's reincarnation (Telamon, below), in his new place. I didn't know he was the Russian Newbie when I first met him, and even hunted a Fox for him. I asked to talk to his boss in the area and Kinned him (Oops), for trading purposes.

Two fellows in full war gear (Dragon Helmets, Soldier Swords, Merchant's Robes, etc) show up. I was in too much of a rush, and caught off guard, to take pictures, but I got away.



At this point, I ran for my boat, grabbed it, and hearthed out.

I memorized them, and they memorized me.

Russians in general are not the problem, but instead the Russian Alliance, and alliance comprised of only Russian members. They teach the newbie Russian players who visit their forums to fear all non Russians. They say it is us who are the intolerant ones, when it is really them. They also reinforce the stereotype to hate Russians to non Russian players by saying popular and powerful players hate all Russians. So please, do not be racist to Russian players, they are no different from anyone else. Instead, hate on the RUA for brainwashing their newbies into following their doctrine of killing all non Russians.

yep. afaik my faction is probably the only one that has never had russian players, and that by coincidence (not policy)

And yes, I posted about Peace on the Russian forum. Then everybody responded with bullshiterry and war mongering, so now I'm half-way to Hertz' nazi side against the Russian fellows.

If a Russian were to post a mature thread about wanting to form peace between Russians and Westerns, I don't think we'd react the same way you fellows did. Unless Hertz showed up, he's crazy.

If I weren't a villager in my friend's village, I'd likely chance trying to bridge relations with you fellows, but I will not put these guys at risk.
