So a bit of an annoyed update on other things I believe this group has done. I mentioned in a prior post that they had raided us a couple days prior to the events that began this thread. Thing is, in the days following, I became increasingly aware of something I hadn't thought about before. Someone, prior to my joining the village which was raided, had thrown some crossroad signs around the village in random crates... My fear mounted that they might have snatched one in the raid and could make a crossroad back to us without us knowing, as I had no idea how crossroads worked. Yesterday, I became aware of one or two things missing in the village.
Today, my fear became reality. Thing is, these raiders baffle me. They've only hit when we were gone, but like I mentioned in my earlier post I had encountered two people trying to bash into our palisade and they ran away on sight of me (I've been told that was most likely because, despite them being obviously better equipped, if I had a ranged weapon they could do nothing). Still, they avoided confrontation. Today they returned to our village, I assume via the crossroads, and began stripping the entire village. And I don't mean looting every container, I mean they /took/ the cupboards. Considering I've seen their place and know they're not just raiding us.. How are they so hard up for cupboards that they feel the need to take, like, twenty from us? I don't even care, but what?
There was one sleeping villager in one of the houses who has been offline the entire time I've been in the village, and I had a bit of a shock when I found them and the bed gone but I saw no murder scents and hope all they did was break the bed with him in it, but that alone confuses me more. They killed noob settlements, why not him? They obviously weren't intent on farming us. This time though they didn't take or kill any animals, and while they took a multitude of q30 chicken eggs, they hardly touched any of the freshly crafted curios filling three cupboards in one building. My one companion and I are fully moving out now (we were attempting to join a new village either way, being alone in ours).
Considering the copious amount of stuff they took from us, alongside a handful of metal bars, I have to wager a guess that their raiding has made them worth raiding.
Edit: they also took about six drying racks. Did they just pour everything into black skills and can't make anything for themselves? And looking at the screenshots posted before me, I can wager a strong guess those cows are mine.
My gameplay will return to normal when W6 actually comes around.
