As for the evil russians in relation to Naos group they are essentially the same. The fact that the vast majority of veterans have quit playing leaving only the truly addicted, the truly bored, the truly new and the bottom of the barrel in terms of quality and morals still playing. Thus you have russians and nao running around killing people too new or too whatever to know any better in a world broken goalless and pointless just how they like it. They thrive on chaos lack of organization and more than anything the broken game to get their cheap thrills.

Well, if your gunna waste your time playing a game, may as well make it as fun for you as possible

Avu, mad as always. Although it is hard to deny your belief about Nao, have you ever actually got along with him and talked normally?
To me at least, Nao doesn't come off as a person who would befriend a person, and then back stab him. Again, I have only experienced
Nao during World Five, and only know of the ass kicking past he has, so I'm not the best spokesperson for him, but I still respect both of you.

It's just a game. It doesn't matter. They certainly would never do such a thing in real life! Ever! (unless there was a guaranteed they could get away with it, some profit wouldn't hurt either). I heard it all before and you know what it's all bullshit. And grow up? Really? To what? A piece of shit lacking any kind of empathy like nao? You know who also hides behind the its just a game? People who destroy half the village when they decide to quit who cares if 20 others put a shitton of work into it there's no way I can be hurt by my actions so fuck you all eh?

As for knowing nao well duh. Once upon a time in world 2 there was a little group of noobs called Codexia Avu was one of them, Cutlass was loosely affiliated with us too but she did start earlier and established herself with Xanadu the original one the one made by jorb. Somehow Cutlass knew Nao from before the game or not I don't remember nor that it matters what it matters is that Cutlass basically taught Nao to play, shared everything with the creature etc. The brave noobs of codexia lacking metal and shit and being waaaaaay behind in power to even lame brodgar at the time made a sort of arrangement with cutlass and by extension with nao. We would feed them baked food and they would look out for us throw us some metal from time to time etc. So we fed them and stuff quite a bit of food too (at the time and remember this was done with no scythe no chests no cupboards because cupboards weren't invented at the time)

Anyway our merry little noob town got wiped out by the faggots of the day aka Waynesville. We regrouped and joined forces with the Insmouth people Chack and Juhu and some others many quit though. We tried to hide at the end of the world something still possible back then. Nao was technically part of the new village except the fag never lifted a straw for the village so to speak and worse kept fucking with the people that worked mainly me. His passion for pants is as old as that. I called him out on being useless and to prove me wrong he told Klaue and gang where we were located and came with them to raid us because that's what nice cool people do. I mean sure I'm not the easiest guy to like and maybe chack isn't either but Juhu is and cutlass at least was invested in our little town so your loyal nao basically fucked his friends over. (he also got cutlass killed in their base before that though he claims he didn't not that it matters).

To keep up with his trustworthy behavior he basically gave access to his account and the keys to wayneville to one of his older associates who had quit for a while. This associate was allied with us aka me and chak and juhu and others that wanted to see ww go down in literal flames. He planned to kill his covilagers one by one at that point and he was going to do it unfortunately the server reset was announced and the creature figured it out that he'd have no "friends" left to start over with so he backed out of the entire slaughter his villagers one at a time. Anyway we still had the keys to some of the gates from him and we went ahead with our plan to destroy the village which we did even though it didn't really matter in the end with the end of the server and all but Naos betrayal remains.

So that's Nao for you. And for you fags who look up to Nao all I can say is you're worth less than a spit to me.

Sweet backstory.

Nao may be cool and funny, but he's about as trustworthy as a rattlesnake.

Well, I've been playing with Nao since W3, he was my original tutor on most things in this game. He's yet to betray me, or any of the people I chose to found Ainran with (Redell, Quasists, RJ) and later on people we recruitted. We are a village too Avu, we die and have feelings when our comrades do die, we work together to build things and have feelings of pride when we produce something that benefits us or make something that is astheticly pleasing or just looks plain bad ass. But what can I say... pvp is just a lot of fun. And we are playing a game.

Every good game needs an opposing force to create conflict (Bad Guys), fortunately HnH has a metric shit ton of them.

I have actually been pondering this recently. This has long been used as an excuse for mindlessly destructive actions in game, even though it is know by the perpetrator that they are doing this to another consciousness, another person. It can be clamied to just a game, but are you not simply playing out things that are already in your nature? For much of the people in the game world, those actions are wrong, and committing them does not come to thier mind - hoiwever for some it seems they easily come to mind...

I have just be wondering if this gameworld and these forums could be loosely connected with Plato's Invisible Ring - i.e. if you had a ring that made you invisible, and thus gave the power to do whatever you wanted with no consequence to yourself what would you do? Help? Hurt? Beat the crap out of a longtime enemy? Kill? Fight crime? Rape? The theory is it reveals your true nature, behaviours that are different are because of social pressures in the real world rather than a true belief they are wrong.

I dunno: probably all bollocks! But we all make choices to harm or help, so when the real world rewards are taken away and people still choose to help others... does that not show some of thier true nature (and vice versa).

However it seems a lot of people you guys kill have no way of being a challenge in PvP, just noobs that have no combat skills (like the 8 or so you guys shot up in another thread). That's not PvP, that's just shooting fish in a barrel.
