I'm glad Winterfell got raided. Terrible guys, but it's still unfortunate they were raided by a bug, but they were not the first people to be raided like that.. I don't even think I've seen a post about someone using a ram against a brickwall. From my previous experiences with Winterfell, they were just as much "criminals" as the people they tracked after. By Winterfell logic, if you left a scent, you were a criminal... guess that makes Winterfell criminals too.

Example? Let's say you are boating along a river, you get out of your boat, to pick up a blueberry or something, and some ass hole comes by and picks up your boat. He then takes off down the river, and put's your boat on his claim. You find this claim, retrieve your boat. You have left a theft scent. Winterfell finds the theft scents, hunts you down, and kills you. "Criminal scum, thievery is not tolerated in lands under the jurisdiction of Winterfell, for they are rangers, seeking to bring justice to those who have been wronged."

I find it ridiculous to have a defining line of what is good, and what is evil, and worse yet, to contradict those claims with actions made in an example like the one above. I would refer any arguments concerning, rangers(good), and raiders(evil) to the developers thoughts on pvp.

I give no congadulations to the raiders. But rejoice all the same.

Winterfell helped me before I ever joined them. No questions asked. We took some clay on edge of a claim. They came ready to kill. We said our story saying we wouldn't touch it again. Friends since. On another note,Teletubbies wiped out my previous village. Winterfell took care of teletubbies. I will forever be indebted to Aracos and everyone from Winterfell for treating me as an equal as a new member of the village. I am sad that it ended a couple weeks into my getting to Winterfell.

So? How does that effect my interactions with them?

Regarding bugs that are reported but not abused: I found a bug that would let me get past just about any wall with minimal effort. I reported the bug to jorb and loftar and in a couple weeks (not much need for urgency since only a couple people knew about it) it was fixed. I never used the bug to raid anyone, just to prove it was possible. About a month later I got the wolf cape, which I had requested jorb create for me.

I agree with the sentiment that this kind of bug abuse needs to be punished.

Also, I have been with Winterfell on a few raids and they were always above the board. Winterfell have been the victims of bugs twice, but as far as I know they have never abused them. (I should say that I have used bugs/exploits before.)

Didn't you quit too? What's with people "quitting" and then adding their 2 cents on everything. No one cares for your opinions.

I no longer log-on, but my village still plays. I will indeed continue to speak on behalf of them. The people are good friends of mine, and we interact outside of HnH, so of course... I still hear about HnH. Also I stated in my post I have plans of returning in W6...

Obviously someone cared about my post, or that person wouldn't have made a post in response to what I said. If people are on the fence of what to think about Winterfell, I was only adding my experience with them, in hopes it can help them make a decision.

Woah woah woah little kai kai, i don't see why you
gotta sling a little hate everyone's way, don't be an
Avy!!! just because he's waiting for salem doesn't
mean he has no experience that could help the
development of the game or bring violence and
change or even a little drama to the hearthlands...

Keep your pennies to yourself if you're gonna spew
fire at everyone because i raped your villager's faces
early w4. He no longer plays. does not mean he quit,
just means he no longer is a slave to the daily operations
required for being an important village member, he
has experience, maybe even more than you, so...
