I actually didn't give two toss about the whole thing. It's a game, and we lost. End of.

However, when they're gloating and lying to us, that behaviour is unacceptable.

Yeah, the OP seems to have a good head on his shoulders but this is the reason I stopped playing again a while back.

The advantage in this game always goes to the aggressor which is almost always the griefer. Death is such a severe penalty and justice requires way too much time sink to enact. If you aren't online for extremely long periods of time you just have to eat the crime/death and try to move on. And then it requires cheese or exploits to contend with cheese or exploits. Yawn. That's still broken after 3 world resets.

I went to that cave system, took like 40mins to walk it... 40mins... after a while I noticed just how many caves were joined up. I have my explanation and one to now explain to the rest of the village.

Your turn to get exiled from the village. Out of the entire cave system that you personally controlled, you had to go mining near their territory, after seeing their palisade you mine virtually next to it, after linking up their caves without their permission, without any thought to the consquence to the rest of the village and when you had your own cave that isn't fully explored yet.

This^ pisses me off. It's not the fact that you didn't take any ore, or that you were actually mining, but the ignorance, stupidity, sheer greed to find iron closer to home and the whole excuse for the situation when you have access to an iron mine that may well be some distance away (10mins), ours and no where near the travelling time it takes you to walk to their palisade by foot (40mins) through the caves. You have no excuse for this behaviour and make for a poor leader in doing so.

We will be palisading off 'our' cave system to the rest of the caves to whom those cave holes belong, as they are not ours. If we want iron closer to home, we'll prospect our current mine in the 'Gregminster Village' cave system or we will trade for it.

I apologise to whom Projeear has offended, we have a new lawspeaker now and Projeear's behaviour does not reflect the rest of the village. We hold no grudges; this is a mistake of Gregminster and we take responsibility. If any problems happen in future regarding Gregminster, we encourage you to contact us on the forums first as a better solution to both parties may be met.
Those involved in the raid I would like to speak with to possibly form new relations, we know who you are and as I said, grudges will not be held.

I ask anyone involved in hunting down the murderer's please cease and desist if it's related to Projeear.

FYI: I wasn't mining for Iron, I was mining for exploration. They had their passage sealed up with a gate. I had a buddy with me at the time per witness.

Argue all you want, you had no permission to go linking their cave systems up and generally treating those systems as you own back yard. It is unacceptable.

This is royal bullshit. Unless the land is claimed, it does not belong to anyone. Sealing cave exit does not make it yours.
