might sound strange, but i hardly port out to avoid other players, and havent got killed that way yet.
i dont wear anything fancy, no weaps, no good armours, yet other players port out before i start talking.
when they stay and talk, they warn me of dangers around or just ask some questions of whereabouts.
all my deaths happened only by boars, and twice by raiders coming to my place instead.
i guess ive used up all my luck that way?
(but then, i dont go out hunting as often as other players anyways.)

I haven't really had the need to teleport away from people, mostly because unless there is a squadron after me, I usually have the upper hand. Only death I suffered so far was in world 3 and that was when 4 raiders wanted to break into my home. After killng two and running out of HP and defense and 1-2 attacks away from being KO'ed, I drowned myself to prevent them from getting Lp from killing me.

I occasionally have people that tries to kill me: Melee, Unarmed, or Ranger bow. Other than the 4 v 1 and the 2 v 1 where they were exploiting ants in W4, I hadn't need to run as they were 1) solo or 2) Death or Glory/ Charge enough to Flex which I had already flattened their defense and obtained combat advantage. Despite of this, I hate going into area that has a known thread factor such as a strong raider faction.

Because of all the threats going on, I am either bunkered up snug in my home or on a boat and usually do not interact while on foot and head the other way when I see wanderers. Despite having a fairly decent stat and knowledge on how to fight, I try to avoid trouble, potential or not. You never know if the next person in a farmer hat with traveler's sack ends up to be a freaking monster.

The past few days have been pretty well since this attack.. Im putting my farming skills to use in a settlment with a pretty cool chum! Id like to think that attacks are far behind me now, safety & peace. Glad to say my goal is achieved for this game.. Now to get a bunch of hemp and smoke the days away

Im JUST SAYING, two russian players destroyed my friends? it wasnt ment to be offensive, it wasnt ment to be anything... I was just writeing about what happend.
Does everything turn to conflict, Why cant peace be the first thing people think of

guess im to noob to notice things like drama, I just see random acts of violence..
You know adding a way to turn off pvp would be very appealing to people sometimes... or atleast making it to where you can hunt for materials without being one shot in your boat from a person out of your sight range would help.
idk... I like the life skills of this game not combat

You seem to be a man of great ideas. Turn of PvP while gathering stuff, lmfao. Open PvP is necessary in this game or all you cry babies would cry even more.
