A legit brickwall raid won't happen until a village (or alliance of villages) gets their shit together long enough to either
A)Camp a brickwall CP long enough and PROPERLY block it in unlike this time at Taar where we left some damn gaps (I wasn't there) in the thing because of fucking laziness, letting them warp in. - No ideal for confrontation, just leaving an alt to 'check' on it until they get there then rush over for a fight. (Lazy but less risky)
B)Camp the bwall or ram with main group of people (Good luck not getting faggots to go 'Oh man I gotta do my crops... looks like you have enough people', it always happens) strong enough to repel damn near anything they'd throw at you, guaranteeing that if they come out, you can meet them with severe force.
Realistically either way you need to be online for 12 fucking hours, the former allows you to just keep a fresh spy alt there and come back very near the 12 hours. Just need to make sure that you are there at the 12hr mark, if they decide to duke it out at least they have to do so outside of the walls (Where you can kick their shit if superior forces), or if they snipe you need rangers to snipe their snipers, you need more rangers than they have.
No matter how it works out, you'll be sitting there, for 12 fucking hours, and every goddamn person you have available better be 'on call' during those 12 hours. Keep in mind that this will obviously conflict with most people's schedules for the ram because assuming the ram was started when the bwall was you now need todo the ram 12 hours later, good luck having those same people online, unless you want to wait an extra 12 hours which is fine and dandy.
Typically we avoid the nonfun parts of the game and focus on the fun ones, sieging is NOT fun, killing people out in the open, yes fun. So funnest thing to do in this case is track them continually, catch them when they're out and have some fun.
Mind you I'm obviously holding back a lot of information here, and there are other ways to do it without having to wait 12 hours, but... you get the picture.
