You obviously haven't been attacked by three people at once before. Everyone has the fight or flight response, but some people just freeze when faced with such overwhelming odds, which is what I have done on two occasions, I just didn't get killed the first time. Eh. From what you told me,Vlad, and daemon, getting your shit could've been avoided. There is two thing that might've been going through your head when they ambushed you.

One: you didn't want them to get your equipment, so you thought they would jump in your boat and kick your ass until u got KOED and take it anyway. Which is fine btw.

2: For some reason that is beyond me, you dropped everything in the river before you drowned when you was at the shore. Making it impossible to get your stuff. Which for anyone who didn't know, his equipment landed on land not in the river which was stolen /=…

Perhaps you should get some training other than combat. Panic is a powerful enemy and will destroy you regardless of skills of the player or character. With a panicked mind, one would be proned to rash decisions. It appears that there was a chance you could have escaped, though we went over that fairly thoroughly in IRC. WTF is your problem. he already said he has little experience in fighting. he paniced and he was outnumbered by by people that could have any sort of stats. personally i'd like to see you try and do better, than at least stopping them from stealing some of his gear.
