so are many others. most people tend to, or rather choose to, learn of their naivety the hard way.

There's a fine line to be walked between not trusting enough and naivety. I've made some good friends and I've been taken advantage of (The second doesn't have to refer to Elgato either, there was another incident much earlier on in my HnH career). I think personally that I'm still on the winning side, even if my ability to trust people upfront has been erroded somewhat.

And gato? Buzz off. We could have killed you easily. Even my little forum post didn't do much since your reputation was already in the shitter with the established players. I let you go with some of the better gear our village had to offer. Considering a single theft scent is enough to justify slaughtering an entire village in this game, being booted and a story posted to congress is downright stupidly merciful. Sorry I cost you your free meal ticket, but did you really think we'd let you get away with it forever? There's a difference between stupidity and naivety.

And I'm sick of you picking at "flaws" in my claims. So here's some facts/numbers:

That BBC was village cheese. Most people barely got 4-5 slices a week, if that, because so little was left to cut. You had 1.5 cupboards worth of it. Add in the 0.5 cupboards worth of Camembert and that's a total of 32 trays of cheese (98 slots, 3 slices of cheese per tray for both types). I claim you stole 100-200 trays, most of which would have become MBC if you'd not stolen it at earlier stages. We had more than enough rack space to convert it. You did your best to log on when no one else was around, but when you did all you ever did talk about doing was hunger grinding. I never really noticed village communal food stocks going down from your activities though. This was going on for at least two weeks. That's easily enough time for you to have eaten the 68 remaining trays of cheese, especially considering that some were jorb/MBC which are 1 slice per tray.

Alright? That should be enough to prove my point. Call me over trusting and naive if you want, but don't call me a liar. I waited weeks after I first suspected specifically so I could know without a doubt it was you.

you are always on the winning side as long as you believe to be on the winning side.
the best balance is always hard to find, nobody can judge it, it can only come from your own experiences.
i do not know either of you in game, and from what ive read on the forums, i just mentioned the seemingly-fact that you do choose to find "the line" the hard way. (not trying to criticize your choice there, in case i offended you or any Narnias.)

Don't worry Tonky, no one's offended :) I agree with you I took the hard route though. As for the narnians, I seemed to have absorbed most of the ones that are left, but I was never around for the glory days of narnia.

Vigilance only steals pants cause that's how he was raised. If you see someone running at you yelling random shit about Narnia just drop your pants and he will leave you alone.
