I want to know what the moderators think about this before making a decision. I am confused about what is allowed and what isn't.

So, you're thinking mods will do something in-game about what you did?
mods don't govern in-game shit they just do forum-related things.

If they post my main forum name, my main in game character could die. I'm not very well known, but I don't want my name posted on the off chance that someone might recognize me.

There is many ways to stop mods from checking your i.p. it's your own fault for not knowing how to be a professional retard

Although people like ichigo58 are freakin' idiots, and assholes for screwing around a trade like that, it does seem like in game moderation if the mods reveal his name, like the thief who stole from (rescu) ?

He used the forum to scam without consequence, mods can reveal his name if they want. They are both using forum mechanics.. or something

Well, i guess it is a bit of a grey area... But in my opinion, people using the FORUMS to carry out their thefts, should be able to be outed on the FORUMS. It would be different if the mods could find out whose alt was attacking them in game, showing ip above their heads etc...

What this is is not in game moderation. Its moderation of the forums if anything, but obviously as there is no written rule the mods can do whatever they please. I'll be looking out for people in that ugly outfit though, for sure
