Then read my link. Pretty good post by Jorb explaining why it is absolutely necessary for your own freedom in game to have the freedom of open PvP as well. Griefing and such would be much worse without the option to just kill every man I see.

hahaha this game! no choice but to be ready for pvp at anytime.. alright i understand a little what you mean, im just used to building yourself up till your ready for face to face fighting. I wouldnt be able to make a comparison of games that you could relate to pvp wise.. but like, standered rpg.. level 10 vs level 100, whos going to win? thats how i feel sometimes when i see people get one shotted. its a little imbalanced, not much i can do but point it out! just going to dig myself into a hole & hope someone dosent find me there till i can hold my own against people that have played longer then me :l

You`ll never be able to stand up to people that play longer than you, if they are still actively playing o___O
And that is exactly why people like Burningham are all for the open pvp system.

A larger portion of the playerbase is FOR open pvp rather than against it. Fuck off with singling people out.

not necessarily... a person with, 50 UA could still defeat a person with 100 UA, it all depends on how well you know the system... although anyone who has been playing longer than you most probably does know the system better..

Sorry bro but when I joined even though my whole first village died to Russians 'just because', I'm all for PvP, and even was then. PvP is fucking awesome, what you need to do is stop crying like a little bitch about the system and start turning that bitchy little whiny crying shit into some fucking properly placed aggression, get buff as fuck and fuck up the niggers who fucked you up.

When my silver mine got robbed and my main character for 3+ months killed I didn't whine like a bitch, I packed my shit, moved to Sodom and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay later down the line I took it back, even then I didn't get a chance to kill the guy, he quit a few days before my plan to do so.

Give Abandinus a break, he's actually taken his death really well, and I haven't heard any whining from him at all (he moved in with me, he's a cool guy and I have plenty of room, plus lonely  ). I'm sure he just wasn't aware of the philosophy of this game, and once he reads Jorb's thoughts on the matter I'm sure he'll get it.

Also, a lot of players are a lot more relaxed gamers than you guys, there's no need to demand that he be really aggressive. If he just wants to chill out playing the game, thats fine.

I'm all for open pvp by the way, its part of the simulation. Makes the game much more thrilling. After dying to raiders out of Last Vegas a couple weeks ago I was the most excited I've ever been about a computer game (I nearly got away! my hidden boat was 10 tiles away!). I'm sure Abandinus will come to discover this in time, he's died several times and has kept on playing, so he's doing something right. But really there was no need to trash him when he's so new, the link to the Jorb post will be all he needs to learn about this. Some of you people need to take a leaf out of his book and chill out a bit.
