Btw, how aren't you a crook? You took all the silk, all the steel, all the pearls, most of the cheeses, and the only prince charming we ever had. Then, you ditched without telling the rest of the village, nor posting that you ditched onto the village forums. The other villagers still had the enthusiam to continue, but you decided to be a lazy bastard, and ditched, to leech off another village. Bravo. I'm amazed at how much of an asshole you can be towards your friends IRL, and the valuable villagers you got to follow you.

having some safe-keeping for village valuables isnt a bad thing, when you often welcome strangers in as new villagers.
some idiots just join and grab everything available and leave for another village. but you sometimes dont know who when everyone has access, and you have to start doubting every villager, which makes it even more rough and tough.

but at least a few more should have access to it imo, especially when you know there are decent villagers as you said.
metals arent as rare as w3, and when you are letting your villagers build walls, you know what you should have done there.

village business as a leader is such a tough job, stay away from it if you arent up to it.

Yeah, he wasn't a very good leader. He didn't even do much, log in, afk, get curios, log out. At the end, he just said "fuck it" and took off with all the valuables that we had vaulted (pearls, silk, steel, prince charming) without telling.

Basically, your leader was a parasite. And those are bad enough when they happen to be simple villagers.
