I often travel far for foraging as well as expeditionary reasons as well so I am not bound to particularly one area but a lot of reason. I prefer to have no trouble on my journey but a few times I have ran into them so I prefer not to waste time to be forced to dealing with threats. If you believe you are one, make sure you are well trained so I at least feel threatened.

Oh, the slinging. I'm perfectly aware that slinging someone wearing
Ranger's Gear isn't going to pass whatever defense they have on underneath, that was more of a "I see you there playing the White Knight and am unimpressed" kind of tap from the old sling. It wasn't meant for damage, if I wanted to damage him/her (I'm guessing its a guy playing a fem character.) I would have ported home and gotten my R-bow. Hope that clears it up for those of you who are.... not all that bright?

Your r-bow is a q15 bow meant for intimidation, or so I recall reading.

That would do worse damage than a good wood bow.

edit: even on that note, you wouldn't have done jack shit for damage even with a good bow.
