where's my criminals at?

being a criminal is the fastest way to get your shit packed in, if you don't know what you're doing and don't have the right setup (ie. a brickwall vault away from your main production center)

the only times i've ever died, aside from drowning and bearlag etc like we all have, but the only times i've died in pvp were when i had started shit.

wait, a roundpole fence/no claim won't protect my stuff?

no wai

Im too afraid to leave those theft scents =( /sarcasm

What did you expect? Everyone admitting how wrong their ways were and trying to become better people?

Btw everything you say is wrong.

You need to know how to exploit weaknesses in villages, how to hide until the heats off, and when a score is just too big and has to be left alone.

There are lots of different ways to do the same job -- lots of people use thief and vandalism alts to get what they want. I've seen thieves who have done it without either and just tend to have multiple vaults located around the world in frustrating to get to places, moving their hearthfire around as often as possible to throw people off and outlast scents.

That all said, it's hard to be smart and it's hard to be clever. It's a lot easier to just end up dead. I advise you to learn a bit about the game before branching off on your own as a thief. Hoping to become an immediately successful one in a world full of trigger happy rangers is a recipe for disaster.

I surely know I've razed three or four villages to the ground before because of petty theft in the past. Small ones, mind you but I'm sure they didn't appreciate it regardless. I've also just let thieves go because it became so much of a hassle to try and track them. There was one thief who had no hearthfire and was just moving around constantly for damn near 11 hours. He had stolen a couple of nuggets of silver and a few copper bars. By the end of it I resolved that he had earned the stupid things at that point and just went home to reprimand the villager who had lost them.

I'm not sure what the safety patrol is actually. That's just how I dress normally.

Wall of irrelevant images coming up.

Some art I made during W2 & W3. I guess not everybody'd get the 'jokes' anymore.

The third image reads 'Graveyard of people who are say Wayneville'

Here is a picture of my FIRST VILLAGE EVER when I joined in World 2 ..
As you can see, we assumed rivers were natural barriers rather than highways, and enclosed a huge chunk of land, using the river as our 3rd 'wall'. It was not a good idea...
We even had a protestant church built, with an altar and everything, since beside flemish, we had a couple of super protestant dutch who absolutely HAD to have a church.

Too illustrate this beginners mistake; here's the layout ^^

The 'Appelstrade' was our highway towards the Apple trees, since apples grew in infinite numbers in those days, and we weren't yet capable of feeding ourselves...

All to say, things changeee!!!! :) :) :)

also take note the kirbilli thread and the obvious weak excuses for the raid for some of your forum vets

if you asked bill gates what he wanted most in the world, its another dollar
