A village is supposed to have your back. I have plenty of murder theft vandalism scents leading to me, but my village would never give me up to save themselves.

There's a missunderstanding. OP's village has no connection other than their LS being a suspect. We simply had access to OP's village to get his hearthfire through a loop hole many villages have.

The only other ways I can think of are cliff jumping, and tunneling in. I believe the later is the most likely.
