Odditown finally raided. (Day 1 Palisade )

We weren't "planning" to quit. We stopped playing already. There were only about 3 actives over the past 3 weeks.

The semi-actives logged on and asked "anything fun going on?", the reply was "nothing to do". And we logged off.


We vandalized everything we came across. It's pretty pathetic if we have to cover the entire world just to find a fight. And the comment about people coming for us... that never happened. It finally did when everyone was offline and then they only raided our farm. Which btw, I still give them props for. We raided and killed the hell out of them, I'm happy someone decided to turn the fight back. However, I would have enjoyed an actual fight over logging in to hear the outskirts of our village were vandalized. Big whoop.

You guys don't understand... they only raided THE FARM. They never went into our village claimed area to raid. They killed 1 main character and 2 or 3 alts from what I'm told. The only thing of value that was taken was 3 or 4 pearls from my understanding. There's not much butthurt here... just more.. boring shit.

This thread is getting boring now. The only point in responding to this was to tell people and let them realize that the only reason we were able to raid half of these pussies with low UAC alts is because they were too scared to do anything. If anyone would have tried to defend, then it would have been a fun fight and you would prob be able to kill our raiding alts (unless you have no UAC).

I don't get you, if you like pure PvP play some shooters.the difference in HnH PvP is that you have to eat sausages, were a nice armor and stare at cows for a long time to be good at combat, but that seems the part you dislike.
maybe you really did choose the wrong game

You don't get to own a town in shooters. After the map is over.. it's over. Shooters are more like a scrimmage match than a war.

I like PvP wars. I don't like chores.

The chores were also way too intricate and time consuming.

Well there ya go, you all afk'd/stopped playing/etc because there was no-one that fight back. Grab some scents and go kill this guys, unless you're too bored to do that too.

Also, I see some steel laying there in on of the screens. I can't certainly know the Q of anything of the stuff that is at the floor but I think you may have lost more than just 2-3 pearls. There is a reason you had that "farm with cows" there and there's also a reason why you had "all that crap" saved in there, right?

From recent talks with monkey I know that it is indeed true what they are saying here, but I agree it is just bad manners or sounds bad when you use such apologies after someone finally had the balls to fight back (I have done the same in world 2). As sab says, now you have a challenge. Go and hunt those guys down it might create some actual drama.

H&H is more than the open PvP part Phades, but of course also more than a simple quality grind too. When you are in a bigger, well functioning village you usually get to experience all parts of the game without having to invest too much energy in only one of them. With its complex social and political simulations plus the permadeath part you should have known that it is not simply open PvP where people rush at eachother all day long (simplifying this to: Everyone is a carebear herpderp isn't gonna cut it either). There are however enough people who think like you. Just build a ram at Klaues vault, they will come out then to fight you. Or I know of some russian and polish villages which enjoy raiding people all day long and usually they have pretty bad security. Lots of targets left if you are really serious.

Anyway, good luck to you guys. Have always been some of the cooler guys I had the pleasure playing with.

Just as you said--We've been talking about being bored and not playing since before this "raid" occurred. As you've even said it yourself, It can't be an "excuse" if it occurred before the fact. Or does Odditown own a time machine now too? Perhaps we forged a mind control helmet from all that "valuable" stuff that was stolen and forced you to say stupid things in your reply? I'll let you retract your statement if it makes you look better than us, because its clear that's what you'd like to feel. Go for it. We'll still love you.

On a side note, if you can grasp the fundamentals of my posts, you'd realize that we're not complaining about being raided. Quite the opposite. I even said in one of my posts that I give the guys that raid us credit because nobody else had any balls to play the combat side of the game and raid us.

We haven't made any steel besides the first 2 batches early on over a month ago and then we stopped when it had no more use to us. The rest of the steel that we had was stolen or shitty quality under 25. You can even see in the SS's posted that the cows were being starved and neglected. All the food troughs were empty. There was one that fed the bulls outside the pen that was moved up to the pen area.

There was a random nub that either fence jumped into the farm or just happened to spawn there that was living off our farm animals. We found it amusing and let him be. Go ask the raiders, they can confirm that there was q5-6 meat, calf intestines, pigs that we let some noob kill off to feed himself. I was hoping he'd be a raider and try to attack us from inside---that'd of been interesting if it came to fruition.

I'm actually surprised half the animals lived as long as they did. :::Shrug:::
