do you actually understand the difference between bullying friends and playing the top faction?

I think you got this wrong. Such thing never happened afaik (and I am pretty well informed).

would you elaborate a bit more please?
i like you a lot when we talk on IRC chat, alpha, but i do not trust your judging eyes over players so far ;)
like, you and portgas are friends, and i remember what you first claimed Roadville to be, which you withdrew later.

karlson2010 wrote:I can say the same about Pandemonium - they are claiming the SG - the rivers and lakes and force you to leave scents just to board your boats and travel. I don't even want to start about the forageables inside the banner claims... which cover so much grounds it gets ridiculous.

A tiny little pick on all of you who use the cord communism so freely - you don't know what you're talking about. There never was communism. Only socialist government or socialist regime if you want to call it. Now we have capitalist regime all over the world. And socilism and communism are 2 entire different things. Socialism is government capitalism. Communism is not even necessarily based on monetary economy...

We are not bannering the land to cause people like you inconveniences or take your precious boats in our possession. Wow, some people...

We need to claim swamps, mountains, ressource nodes because it is much more convenient to warp to them than to drive there everytime. Those places are ours, yes. Do you blame every hermit for claiming and palisading his piece of land and keeping it from you? Thought so. We do the same, just that we are no hermit, but 50+ players striving to be a superpower.

This is a somewhat agressive expansion policy, but how do you even compare that to russian extortion rackets? There are many traders on the market and we let them trade and compete with us. Also as was said before you don't even leave scents for retreiving your own boat and not even for foraging on claimed land (which should be fixed btw), so the only point for us to have those huge chunks of land claimed is to have crossroads to warp to.

P.S.: Our authority bar turned into a nice bright red when we passed a certain level :)

The real reason for that picture is to show off his dragon helm!

Was Karlson the ones that was living near the swamp?

There are upside and downside to both high level village and hermitry. I experienced both of them so far.

Why not? When I claim a swamp I expect it to be mine and don't want all kinds of hobos foraging on it...

Because eventually every single swamp will be claimed. Can you imagine starting out without them? You may as well just go and close new registrations.

If you really want something to be yours, go and brickwall it.
