its not just one book, its a shit long series of horrible ( i read it all in an act of destructive stupidity, and was retarded for lyfe).
it has like the same plot line repeated 3 times through the series, only with different villains etc...

I made a similar mistake. Ordered the first 5 at the same time from amazon (reviews were good, and the story seemed nice in theory so I was expecting to plow through them really fast). I don't even remenber where I quit, but it was somewhere along the place where SOME FUCKING SPIRITS OR SOMETHING PUT THE TWO PROTAGONISTS INTO AN ALTERNATE DIMENSION SO THEY CAN HAVE SEX FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A EXTRA SPECIAL WAY.
I really hate this series, and everytime I read a good review my soul dies a little. Good to find a kindred spirit.
