A Lesson Well Taught

===TL;DR===
Newbie Russian steals from me.
Newbie Russian blames stranger, my old friend, per chance.
Newbie Russian cries as I destroy his shit.
Newbie Russian blames his villagers for stealing the shit.
Newbie Russian tells me to kill his villagers instead of destroying shit, and tells me he would kill them himself if he could.

So. Here's the story;

Yesterday, I am in my hermit compound, tending my crops. Two russian fellows come out of the cabin that is over my wall that was there before me. I start up a conversation, and they beg me for Leather. I, regretfully, admit that I only have 42, and none to spare, but kin them for future reference, "James" and "Saha3434".

They leave, after popping their head into a crate outside my wall also.

Soon after (An hour?), my buddy who lives down the road from me, tells me how his Wondrous Woodshaving has been stolen. I look to my Kin List, and the smarter of the two fellows (seemingly, from my conversation), the leader, has unkinned me.
I call another friend of mine who has rage, to come along as muscle. He makes his way over, and I add the dumber of the two to my party. I follow him via portrait-clicking. He leaves the party about two minutes later.

After crosschecking two follow-directions, they don't match up. I trick him into joining my party once more, and find he is in a total different direction. I head south after him, but he leaves the party again. After a couple of minutes searching the coast and area, we leave with heavy hearts.

========

Today, I went Curiosity Hunting. I come across a Russian fellow. I greet him and ask if he has seen any bears in the area, that I could hunt (He was pretty low level, by the looks of it, so he wouldn't need it, right?). Well, he responded in Russian Characters. In a turn of spite, I block him against the river and knock on his boat a couple of times, then let him go.

He goes north, I go south... End of...?

I find a boar around the corner and start slinging. The russian fellow comes south again, with three more boats...

"James"... followed by Saha, and a stranger. All of them newbie-looking. James starts to talk to me nicely, whilst Saha circled around me. seriously?

I turned around with my pickaxe in hand and hit his boat a couple of times. He ran back to James.

Now the fun begins.

I ask him for my Woodshaving back.

He says, What woodshaving? Don't know what you're talking about.

I bluff, "Funny, I have scents pointing right at you as the thief."

He then goes on to tell me how a guy I played with Knocked him out, stole his trousers (How can his trousers have been stolen, when he is a newbie and still has linen pants on?) and his curiosities (admitting he had stolen the Woodshaving). He then went on to tell me how his neighbour had been killed lately by this guy who had supposedly knocked him out.
I followed them and left my boat just off the river. He led me to an abandoned claim, which they all jumped across the claim line onto and said it was in a crate. Fuck them if they think I'm leaving scents.

I said, "Hm, alright. Are you nearby? Show me where you are so we can make sure you're safe." and so forth. I said something about how we should band together to defend against not-telling-hnh-community-name.

"Ok." They took me straight to their area. Really!

Before we got there, he said, "ok plz dont stole". Lolkay.

We arrived... No claim. No walls. Crates everywhere, an Anvil, a metal cauldron, and alot of seeds. Thieves.

I sent them away to fetch my boat for me whilst I looked around for scents. Two went, one guy stayed behind to do whatever he was doing.

I looked around for decent loot... Poppy Seeds, some curios, anvil and Cauldron were beyond repair, some silkmoth eggs...

After I destroyed the first couple of crates, they came back and started buzzing around me.

Full of stolen loot.

I came out, and they had put boulders around the door. I picked them up and moved them aside. >_>

I felt kinda bad when he said this, as I destroyed the crates. :|

Stolen anvil/cauldron.

Here's the conversation he was spasming at me with... He actually went on to blame his villagers, and told me to kill them instead. :|

If they cause more trouble, then we will retaliate. There's no need to kill a newbie over stealing. Teach him a strong lesson, mayhap, but killing seems a little... overkill.

You had SCENTS and you let them live?

Jesus christ, what has become of this world.
