A thief in LUEville (closed)

Postby Eobersig » Tue Aug 30, 2011 5:10 pm

Greetings, to all that might be interested.

A thief has robbed my belongings while I was sleeping. He made away with some curios and (as a matter of curiosity) with some acre clay. :)

His hearthfire has been tracked to a village called LUEville. Sadly, no coordinates can be given since the website hosting the HnH map seems to be down currently. Whoever knows about this village (located roughly to the Southwest of the map center) or even lives close to it - be warned. While tracking the route of the thief I noticed deeds of trespassing of this shady figure on some other people's property too.

In case someone wants proof of the accusations or is even interested in hunting the thief down (sadly I have no skills in the martial arts), there is plenty of evidence that can be obtained from me. I reckon the travel from my site to the thief's hearthfire takes roughly one hour.

Showing pictures of scents isn't going to be enough evidence, you want to have screenshot of your tracking pointing the scents to Lueville from different directions if possible. Be careful though.

An enemy will only fight if he believes he either has a chance to win, or you've backed him into a corner and he's fighting for his life. A completely crushing victory provides an enemy with neither.

Edit: and yes, I checked the eastern side of the village too. :) Scent arrow towards the northwest on the eastern side.

Can you show pics of you tracking on the eastern side as well?

Sadly not now because I didn't really bother to document my tracking, the screenshot above I only made for me to remember the location. I'll see whether I find time for another visit to the village soon and will make more screenshots then.

if the hearth in question was inside that house, the cone from tracking would be wider, now get pics of tracking from another direction preferably more than one direction. the one pic you posted is not adequate.
