I'm a noob, I've just been robbed and I need help.

Hello, I'm Kherron20, some of you may already know me. I go by Kherron and Tama in game.

I'd normally not be bothered by this but the theft was of some q50+ ckickens that were graciously donated to me by a friend. Three cocks, two hens, and either two recently hatched chicks or two about to hatch eggs.

I logged out last night after checking on them, they were fine, I logged in about 10 minutes ago and they were gone.

I understand that my coop was not on my claim, however, I have a roundpole fence surrounding my home with both enterances in my claim and my fence undamaged. What really kicks me is thay've stolen from me and not even bothered to shut the door on the way out. I'm currently working on gaining LP to expand my claim to cover my coop but that's no use if they are just coming in anyway.

Obviously they have the Tresspassing Skill which I cannot guard against till I get a Palisade and gate and key.

I feel really bad that the chickens that someone has given me have been stolen and I'd really like some help if possible to sort this, stealing from noobs is par for the course apparently and some make a living out of it but I draw the line when they're stealing gifts.

It's not right and it sets a bad precedent: after all, who's gonna be bothered helping noobs if the stuff's gonna get stolen shortly after?

If help is not applicable, some advice to help prevent this in the future would be nice. I have two chicks left and I'm worried they may come back again just to kick me in the teeth once they see this post.

PPS: Also I'm somewhere south of points edge, I have no idea where that is on the map and I sure as heck am not putting up a screen shot unless absolutely neccassery.

Roundpole fence is easily breakable, and if the coop was outside your claim, it isn't yours.
There is no way to help someone in this situation, since trespassing scents disappear rather fast and are pretty much useless.

As I said, my fence was undamaged when I checked, meaning they've came through my claim to get to my coop. I know the chickens technically weren't mine as they were not on the claim but it still bugs me that someone would do this and leave me with absolutely no way to fix it.

I need palisade walls to stop this, but I need bone glue for that, I need chicken's for bone cause rabbits are rather scarce here and there's no way I can hunt something and live. So as you can see I'm a little stuck. If I'm very lucky my last two chicks will become a hen and a cock. And a whole flock will spawn in my back yard. The least they could have done was leave one cock...

Sorry, I'm venting...this is just so frustrating...I finnally make some kind of progress and my chickens get swiped...

Then the people who donated the chickens are some serious jackasses. That's just askin' for it. Sure I know the game a bit better but within two weeks I had a brick wall up.

Yeah, I got q50 chickens, you know what that means? One, I'm a noob and someone gave them to me and two, you are obviously a noob at reading.

And I'm again, sorry for being rude but I'm angry at the theft and I'm angry at you for apparently skipping through this post and only half reading the problem and then deciding you have the right to wail on me for playing a game that I've just recently discovered and like.

Okay so why are you mad they've been stolen? Of course I didn't read your TL;DR, you're mad shit you can't defend got stolen. Consider it a cheap lesson learned in how to play H&H -> DON'T EXPECT TO ACQUIRE SHIT YOU CAN'T DEFEND. <-Period.

If you defend enough to get good scents left (Vandalism) then those are summonable and some noble jackass might track down the killer for shits giiggle and self righteous pillage and plunder.

of course I'm mad, here I was thinking I'd never have to fish again and I go on and find my chickens gone. you trying to say if someone emptied out your coop when you don't have the ability for a little payback you wouldn't be mad?
