Use a trade alt, if they kill traders, then they dont want to trade. Post in the forums and there goes their credibility.
Just because they are raiders, that doesnt imply they dont trade and are just trying to grab people to kill and steal.

For someone who might be a raider, port your alt to them (that way they're not tporting a combat char into your base). Don't trade anything too valuable. Scream to the high heavens if they screw you.
