Bear Corpse for sale! sold*

Postby galopagogo » Wed Jun 15, 2011 3:52 am

I have a freshly killed bear corpse that I would like to trade for tools. I am looking for a pickaxe, high Q stone axe (70+), monocle(s), a shovel, thimbles, anvil/hammer, scythe, forge rings, etc anything else you might think would be useful to a new village. Whoever offers the best combination of items will get the bear assuming we can arrange a meeting.

Please make offers here not via PM.

I am located on the east side of the map. I am willing to travel a ways but not a crazy distance. If we could meet somewhere convenient for both of us that would be optimal. I do not have a village idol. Also, if you can have anyone vouch on your behalf for honesty/trustworthiness that's a plus.

SOLD

Nope. You get first dibs on the bear if you want to trade as we weren't able to earlier.

Too bad bears only have 8 hours before they rot, and anyone can go out and find their own bear to kill...

Buying bears and selling bears are completely different. Due to them expiring somewhat quickly, one can't really keep them in stock. While when you are buying bears, you just have to wait until someone brings a bear to your doorstep, not worrying about getting it before it expires since if it does you don't lose anything.

In that case it makes much more sense to advertise that you're selling bears rather than buying. Since they're time sensitive the people involved need to be online and playing. If you're selling a bear obviously you're online and just slew it. Also by advertising that you're selling it you're marketing towards players currently online who have the potential to buy it immediately. If you're buying bears and someone kills one there is no guarantee you'll get online soon enough to purchase it. It will most likely either decay or be sold to someone else.
