Clay cost

Postby Kurundo » Fri Jul 15, 2011 8:40 pm

Why the hell is good clay so expensive?
10 pearls for 45 q70 clay?
Wtf is this shit?
Is this really the best deal or are there people with more reasonable values on clay?
Just wondering because I do not see any comparison in effort between those goods.

Clay significantly improves the quality of metal and food, and people tend to like those a lot, because one saves you from dying, and another makes you stronger.

I dunno though, the nodes recover 1q every 8 hours though, right? So you can visit the node 3 times a day and get it's full q clay... that should render 45 clay easily within 2 days if you're only using the best the node can produce.
How long does it take 1 person to get 10 pearls? :/

You are missing the point my friend, me you and everyones auntie can gather mussels....

Plus everytime you sell clay of that q you reduce its value and increase your competition in other goods...

Well I guess that justifies Panda claiming the entire river and my old settlement for a node of 52 clay, gotta take every single bit off the market for a damn monopoly at ridiculous prices.

No even a need for HV. Just make 10 - 20 - 30 disposable vandal alts without HF and vandal anything you need.

Why not just make a HV for them to siege for clay that is "bulk" by their standards. That way I could save time retraining vandals.
