I had the same idea.

Lets say a gold bar is worth 50 points at SQ ( Standard Q) Then 10 coins of that is worth 5 points. SQ can be like q10 and then just use q multiplier from there.

Did you dub your own thread infamous?

and what would the standard Q of gold be?

Gold has no quality at all so having an SQ for gold is rather pointless.

Hmm, especially copper+bronze seems good here since the curios they are made of are largely effected by hammer as well.

Marketplaces are still a waste of effort until barter stands can request curios, though.

Gold can be 10q since its more rare but then SQ for tin and copper can be in Q30- Q40 then if its less then the SQ just subtract it's worth. 1 bar of tin is 10 points at q30 but 6 points at q20... etc until you dont take anything lower then X q.

What the hell are you even getting at, cause you've confused the shit out of me.

What do you mean by 'SQ', if you mean 'Standard Quality', Standard Quality is always 10 and the SQM is the standard multiplier which will always be sqrt(q/10).

Already working on a way to unify everything, needs a bit of work though.
