WTB 2 high Q branches

My pearl hunters claim the number averages close to 1 pearl per 50 mussels. Wiki says 1 pearl per 100 clams last I remember.

I think the devs even said in the Announcement thread that it was 1%. Too lazy to find that now though.

In W3 when i did crazy mussel hunting the average chance was 2 pearls per 150 mussels. :/

It's because it's a %. 1% doesnt actually mean you WILL get 1/100, it means that average on infinite tries is 1/100.

I got 17 pearls out of 10 cbs~ which is around the 2.6%~ , but lately I've been gettin 0 out of TONS. The odds of getting 1 out of 50 are the same as getting none out of 1/200 . Or around there.

If you ever played RO you would understand more about % drops. Killing 1000 mobs getting 0. Killing 2 in a row getting 2, etc.
