Since the other thread was purged I'd suggest if you have questions like this you probably make a thread in the Inn regarding people who buy specifically. It's nothing new for people to buy or sell things for IRL money and in games, and I asked mods/devs and they don't care (gotta love our devs), so people who do it, that's all up to them.

Not sure how they deal with scams, but probably just like in game: your problem
