If I was jorb, i would use my dev powers to conjure thousands of pearls, sell them for $€£ using an alt and then announce a server reset 2 days later. It would be the best troll ever!

while brilliant it does kinda pose a question if some one did go to the trouble of buying an item and the world was announced to reset would you offer them a % back.Just curious to see how a case like that would be handled

Why would you pay them back? You should know you are taking a risk buying anything in this game with RL money since its permadeath so you could lose it at any moment and since it could just be reset. Its the buyer's risk, the seller shouldn't worry about it.

A good seller would develop enough of a reputation to be able to assure future world discounts for purchases made in previous worlds. Everybody wins (except the game, which loses)
