I'm sorry, but what is this Sodom trade etiquette you speak of? Number one you are a fucking idiot and you think you are hot shit. Number two, you have no idea the enormous amount of time and care I and many other Sodom members put into upholding a high standard of trading. We spent long hours discussing what to sell and fair prices, looked at the world economy and the prices of other factions and their goods, and assessed our stock of items and ability to efficiently produce our list of sold goods. I spent nearly all of my in-game time towards the end of world 3 doing two things: talking to and carrying out trades with hearthlings in the 121 supergrids (that often involved complicated systems of warping and the time of others) and spiraling iron ql up. If you are going to accuse the Sodomites of having poor trade etiquette, it only reflects on you. In fact you become the one with poor trade etiquette and thus your business would suffer.

please, be warned though, that you do face another danger by trading with identity hiding customers who would probably just use pm so that nobody would check or bother to help.

I guess what he means is that having his thread ruined over 8 page by ONE moron asking for multiple proofs before saying no proof would be acceptable, making anything to make him look like a scamer or a troll and repeating again and again that no trader in his right mind would use an alt while other people (among which respected trader) stated they understand why he does this is quite frustrating.

But guess what, the troll's still around and the mods support him.

Also Burg & ewol, I guess what he said is that the poor behaviour of one of your hearth-buddies may reflect on your whole group (just as a village should expect to be raided when one of their members steals and kills).

3)I didn't say NO proof would be acceptable, video evidence or ingame evidence is acceptable and I made that clear, showing a trusted player which he claimed to have known. (Since he claimed to have known a trusted player in Sodom this would be more than enough, or anyone from BN, goons, any major faction really)
4)I said that pictures is no good for proof, when his original post relating to gold had nothing to do with selling it, if he had made a post1 account and went straight to selling it, that would make more sense, but the first thing he did was go "Hey I has gold, let's post in thread 'Haha I got gold', I'll wait a bit then post trading thread, yea". There's a difference here.
People understand it, doesn't mean you wouldn't be called out for it. Also doesn't mean that proof in the form of a shitty picture is false, pretty much everyone I talked to in Sodom said they thought it was one of our own members using old cropped up pictures. This is easy to do, easy to fake, which is why I suggested alternate proof (via ingame options or video)
Furthermore as I've already stated while I might not have interest in it, people in my village might, and I have an interest in their not being scammed or trapped.

There's nothing unsafe about posting it on your main unless you openly post your location and affiliations without being strong enough to handle what might come.If you avoid giving out open information you won't have this sort of problem in the future.

Video evidence could just as easily be shot down as a client mod as you already have done to my screenshot. As for in game evidence, I would gladly show Sodom, but I've got no serious offers from you, but if it meant you would stop saying it's fake I'll consider it.

I've already given out my identity to some people who gave me serious offers. I'm not trying to keep it away from potential customers, only raiders.
