To straight things up:

- One player wants to weaken another one ingame 'cause he's either trading with evil russians or evil russian himself
- He using his moderator superpowers for that (any other reasons for investigation we should know about?)
- He even posting user's IP (unacceptable on any forum)

That's well worth deprivation of moderator status.

it is logical enough when you just read this. but then, the op also pretended to be someone else defending his own group like this, which is pretty much unacceptable. (the post itself is legit, but when you learn what is behind it, it isnt.)
revealing IPs is acceptable on any forums when the poster is trying to pretend to deceive others using multiple accounts.

and for the record, i have never traded with anyone with a secret identification in game due to my own policy.

There are tons of alts with hidden identities used for pvp/trading/looting/spying/etc, and there's nothing unacceptable in that. That makes the game more interesting. Don't forget that anyone with serious matters will use vpn/proxy/tor to hide themselves.
And I never trade without alt. It just not safe.

The background isn't important at all. You clearly write that Your goal is to hurt his business, your only argument was taken with help of mod status. Anything other is chitchat about evil russians, accusation on marked items (no proofs) and crashes (no proofs again), everything multiplied by Your moderator status.

I'm not complaining here but trying to counter. Complains should be written by OP, not me. I don't believe in any results though.

There is plenty of proof on this one in case you didn't follow the discussion. On the scents thing I said I cannot prove it anymore, but we employed a fake trader and he sold that trader scented items. Believe my word or not. I for one would not even trade with these people anymore just for the fact that they are supplying folks like Mistic and Portgas with stuff.

1) alts for pvp/looting/spying/etc are a different matter here. im only talking about trading.
2) alts with identity (who is controlling the char) and alts with hidden identity for trade are completely two different things.
3) of course it cannot be safe when you try to trade with someone you dont even know. its your choice to use a hidden identity for trading. and you are aware of the potential consequences from that. some new players dont.
4) i prioritize "trust" or "credit" more than the trade rate or quality. gaining trust makes the game more interesting for me, unlike you. vpn or proxy does not matter because i only trade with someone i know well or those with their recommendations, unless just giving noob stuff away for free.
oh, and im not saying everyone should follow it, im just talking about my policy to reply you back for that comment.

I for one would not even trade with these people anymore just for the fact that they are supplying folks like Mistic and Portgas with stuff.

- I don't care on your propaganda (I have my reasons to dislike Portgas&Co too but that's not valid for trader). You don't have a right to say that as moderator though.
If you're think that's your duties.. well, make an investigation on every customer of every trader, and write warning on trader's page if any of that customers is raider (alts and villagers included). Oh, and please don't forget there are non-russian raiders too.

You'll get a suit in notime for such actions IRL.

I think what you're saying is actually worse, to edit their actual thread.

so you know we have proof not just from him being a moderator. Three guys he traded with were raided the next day, and they used scents to track to village. We tested it ourselves by baiting him to alts to see if he'd show up.

The basic story here is really awesome, but I really hate the way in this game you guys always seem to turn everything into an argument about who abused the most bugs, and I wish you would just stop and try and succeed without them. It makes the whole drama kindof pointless imo.

What a shame...

I traded with Voedoo last week and then the next day... Not even the next day, literally 10 hours later we have some Palibasher bashing down the outpost that we used to trade with him (Mind you this outpost is in the middle of nowhere with no scents leading to it). Funnily enough all the silver I traded with Voedoo had been stolen.

Tracked scents lead to Vagas.
