Just FYI, since I have seen this a couple of times. It is Edelweiss. The german letter ß is spelled like a double s.

Weiss means wheat, so its a wheat beer.
wheat beers, especially dark wheat beers are delicious!

I am sorry, but that is not correct. Weiss is simply the colour white. What you mean is Weizen. Edel means noble.

It is funny that Edelweib actually has a meaning too, since Weib can be translated either as a somewhat out of date word for broad, or as something like shrew.
